Motherdough is an organic bakery with a stone mill based in Toronto, Ontario. We mill all the flours for our breads and pastries in-house, using many kinds of organic grains, mostly from Ontario farmers. We also sell our wide variety of flours to the public. Our breads and pastries are made with a sourdough starter. We use a variety of whole grains in our pastries and breads for ecological integrity, deliciousness, and nutrition. Customers have called our baking singular. We work to respect the craft of baking and not take short cuts. But really, we just want to do our part to build things better.
